Professional Affiliations and Activities 

Nicole has over a decade of teaching students of all ages and abilities. In addition to her work at the Gifted Music School, Nicole teaches as an adjunct professor at the BYU Salt Lake Center teaching general music. She substitutes with the Timpanogos Symphony, the Salt Lake Symphony and the Utah Valley Symphony. Ms. Elkins also regularly subs with the Utah Valley Symphony playing both flute and piccolo. She is also a member of the flute duo, Flutetastic, that performs primarily in the Salt Lake Area and recently was the first alternate in the regional level of the Music Teachers National Association chamber music competition.
