Students of the faculty of the GMS have dominated almost all Utah level competitions, has been heard on NPR's From the Top, and is frequently awarded national and regional level honors.

Founders

Eugene Watanabe and Vera Oussetskaia Watanabe founded the Gifted Music School with the vision of providing a world class music school in order to create stronger citizens. A fundamental component of their lives, both Eugene and Vera intimately know the values instilled in pursuing musicianship. They created the Gifted Music School upon these values of dedication, perseverance, loyalty, and camraderie.
